How and Why Do We Get to Peace

I am just creating this blog today in order to advance some ideas and to share information. Constructive views and honest questions will be valued here.



Metaphysics, defined broadly from the Greek as meaning "beyond the physical realm", are basically controlling. If someone does not understand this, then that someone will be found to lack a full understanding of the options open to that individual. And what is true for the individual is also true for the group in this context. Think of those national leaders who took a very materialistic and determinist view of their circumstances, Hitler and Tojo to name just two, and think of how badly they judged their situations and hwo badly they fared because of those misjudgemnts. Think of how well materially Stalin fared from World War II, a conflict he relished and helped materially set up on a large scale, yet what an amazingly sour existence he lived, paranoidically circumscribed as he was, possibly murdered by his immediate subordinates to save their own lives from him. Lawrence Reese's BBC television series "World War II: Behind Closed Doors" had its PBS debut last week. It is colorful and not without new revelations about the inner workings of Stalin's wartime government, with NKVD officers confessing safely to some of the murders they undertook. But it pales before Rezun ("Suvorov"'s work). Apparently many Anglo-American students of Stalinism-Leninism , subject to years of mythical conditioning, cannot grasp emotionally the hyper-aggressive stance of the Red tyrants. Stalin, with his terror state, enormous armed forces and enormous industrial base, did not fear the outbreal and occurrence of World War II, he had consciously worked for its creation since at least 1927, as Suvorov-Rezun and even Stalin's own rival Trotsky have credibly shown through much documentation. James B. Edwards in his little book "Hitler: Stalin's Stooge", despite some stylistic oddities, has magnificiently captured the psychology of the Leninist state with its emphasis on Nechaev's aggressive, murderous anti-morality. Stalin and his underlings very much helped bring the traumatized lance-corpral to power in Germany with the intentions of using him as a predictable, ignorant foil. I am very glad that some distinguished Jews have heloped Suvorov-Rezun bring his magnum opus to print in the USA.

Read Sylvia Browne's "Secret Societies and How They Affect Us". She's a "psychic" and a former Catholic school teacher who has formed her own Gnostic church, the Society of Novus Spiritus ("the Society of New Spirit") and her approach of combining exhaustive research with some intuitive conclusions and the opinions of a spiritual medium is unusual to say the least. But she has managed to approach the subject in an unusally positive manner and her attitude to Christology gives her a much better scenario, if dubious in its parts, than the standard masochistic church-issue.
